At The Jamaica National Heritage Trust (JNHT), we understand that the cornerstone of building long-term relationships with our visitors is the trust we build through protecting their privacy. That is why we have created the following set of privacy principles to assist in understanding the measures we take to ensure our customers’ privacy is maintained.
- Visitors to our Web site will remain anonymous. We do not collect personal identifying information about visitors to our site.
- Our servers collect standard non-identifying information about visits to our site such as date and time visited and IP address. This information is used to compile standard statistics on site usage.
- If you have provided identifying information via e-mail (such as name and address), the information will only be used to communicate with you to handle your request. It is not sold or transferred to other parties.
- If you communicate with JNHT using E-mail, your communications will not be secure unless you use our secure e-mail system from our website. Communications sent over the Internet via e-mail without going through our website will not be encrypted and should not be treated as a secure method of communication.
