Woodside

Woodside Community Group was established by Dr. Erna Brodber who was born in Woodside and spent most of her years there .Dr. Brodber who is a Sociologist established this organization to promote the heritage sites in her community, offer training to the people of the community, and to offer their heritage resources to the world also to share their knowledge with other communities.

The Woodside Group also celebrate Jamaica's special occasions e.g. Emancipation. With their enthusiasm to sell their heritage to the world, they often invite local and international university students and teachers as well as other communities to join them in their various celebrations. Giving tours of the heritage sites in their community is also a very important aspect to the people of Woodside.
